Reliable and punctual delivery to our customers is secured through intense cooperation of the HAVI Logistics employees on the basis of specific rules and responsibilities. In the storage areas of HAVI Logistics, food safety is the ultimate goal.
The requirements of applicable legal regulations are largely exceeded. Based on more than 25 years of experience in the distribution of food articles in particular, each of our more than 40 Distribution Centers is tailor-made and divided into three temperature zones:
- ambient: + 5° C to max. + 25° C
- chilled: + 1° C to max. + 3° C
- frozen: - 23° C to max. - 20° C
Directly on arrival at the Distribution Center, goods are checked intensely according to the so-called QIP, "Quality Inspection Program", which defines specific quality criteria for each product. QIP is a supplement of the extended "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points"- concept, HACCP for short.
Both concepts together - in combination with our traceability system - guarantee the highest possible food safety through quality control of the articles at all critical points within the supply chain from producer to customer.
